CLIMAITE has startet. We are building the site now and will initiate the manipulations in October 2005. We are currently testing and calibrating the CO2 dosing FACE system at the site in collaboration with Franco Miglietta, IBIMET, Italy, and we are testing different heating systems at Ris� in collaboration with Jyllands Markisefabrik.

PhD-project within atmosphere-biosphere carbon exchange is open now at RIS� in Roskilde.

Claus Beier has been invited to give a presentation on "Effects of climate change on terrestrial ecosystems studied by field scale manipulation experiments" at the Acid Rain 2005 conference in Prag 14-17 June - here CLIMAITE will be presented.
